    Best durable phone on the market

    The Galaxy Active series now comes to T-mobile and Sprint after being stuck with AT&T since the S4 Active. I cannot say how excited I was when I heard that news, always loved the Active line for both being an excellent flagship and not something that breaks from a simple drop on the floor. (Do get a screen protector, it is a plastic screen that scratches easily) Even with the S9 Active likely coming out soon, it'll likely be the same minor upgrade the S9 has compared to the S8. I'd still get this one as itll be cheaper and probably have the same durability. It is also a tad heavier than most phones, but makes up for it with the incredi battery life it has. Screen on time will vary depending on what you use the phone for. I did lose 10% in an hour after playing Pokémon Go and listening to a podcast via Google Music. (Without any power saving mode on) This phone is simply incredible. All the power of an S8 with a larger battery and far more durable body. Nearly all other tough smartphone have garbage specs, this one does not. Amazing performance and camera quality. Perfect for anyone that worries about breaking their phone.

    Very pleased with this product....

    My Samsung Galaxy S8 Active is everything I was hoping for and then some. The screen of the phone was like brand new, 100% blimish free. The back and sides of phone had minor wear, just like the discription stated, which is to be expected when buying a used product. The phone is up to date and the battery life is amazing especially after having chase down a charger 3x a day with my old Samsung Note. With the S8 I can go to work for 12+ hours and still be above 70% battery life. It's nice being able to go to work or whatever and not have to worry about if my phone is off due to a dead battery. Very satisfied!

    Great phone!

    Extremely clean phone. It looks like new even though seller rated 9.5 out of 10. I couldn't find anything that justified anything but 10 out of 10. Samsung accessories were included. Battery life is incredible. I go three full days without charging and there is still 30% left. Fingerprint scanner is very easy to use and very rarely makes me try more than once to unlock the phone. The camera on this phone has much better macro than my old Galaxy S5. I considered buying a lesser known brand than Samsung, just to save a few dollars. I'm very glad that I didn't. I have nothing negative to report about this phone.

    Rugged, take anywhere phone

    This rugged phone takes a little getting use to because of it's larger size and weight. It's not very stylish but that's what Iphones were made for. On the plus side the large 5.8" display is easy to read and the battery life is phenomenal. Signal reception is very good and the speakerphone is loud. The phone's internal data can be fully encrypted but it slows down the phone and reduces battery life. Leave it unencrypted unless you keep sensitive data on the phone and are afraid of loosing it. With a plastic back, shock absorbing corners and waterproof sealing, it's a great companion for all outdoor activities.

    Awesome phone for a great price!

    Arrived as described. Looks brand new, not a single scratch anywhere, and it's definitely a carrier unlocked device. Took my sim from my old phone, installed it in the new one, powered it on, and it works fine. Being that I am on Straight Talk, I did have to create an APN for Straight Talk, but after that, everything works as it should. Setup took quite a while though, but I'm sure it was about the same for any new device these days. It seems like the newer the device is, the more you have to enter, and agree to.

    Sturdy, heavy, mean looking

    The phone seems well built, and it is heavy which will take some getting used to. Rear fingerprint scanner is reliable but hard to reach (get used to) coming from a phone with a front scanner. Processor is very fast compared to S6. Battery life started off at almost 2 days of normal use, but seems like it may be decreasing already. Note I purchased a refurbished phone with deep scratch on aluminium body for better price than new. I have no idea how and how long the phone was in use.

    I love this phone so far

    I am really loving this phone so far. I have had it for a week, and it is just slightly larger than my previous Samsung phone. I am a long time Samsung user, so there really wasn't a learning curve except where to find some of the settings. The size is really the only thing I have had a little trouble getting used to.     SAMSUNG G8 ACTIVE - RUGGED AND POWERFUL

    Just got a Samsung Galaxy G8 Active to replace my S3 and I am loving it. Never mind I am 5 yrs behind, but the G8 works like a dream. Lasts all day on one charge, takes gorgeous pictures, great speakers, fast processor, beautiful screen in a nice size for me to watch videos. Phone was in great shape when I received it too.     Waterproof, Tuff, a good buy

    I like Samsung products. We have 3 Samsung TVs and two S8 Actives. The reasons for the S8 actives are: waterproof,rugged, Android (some of my apps are not Apple compatible) and size (we can use a slim case). I do give up the ability to answer the phone with my hearing aids as my brand hearing aid is 'more compatible' with Apple.
