It is very easy to know that the colors of your screen are ruined because it will display right on your screen. Lets take a look at what you can expect:

What is a Light Engine?

Also referred to as an optical engine, a light engine is the LED alternate to a TV lamp. Its purpose is to illuminate and balance the colors to bring you clear images. It features an LED chip mounted on a circuit board that has mechanical and electrical fixtures.

Most Hitachi TVs come with a user manual that will guide you to know the number of viewing hours it will run before its light engine becomes faulty.

How to Replace a Hitachi Light Engine

Identify the position of the engine.
